Anyone experiencing a mental health crisis including substance abuse or suicidal ideations, or anyone who has loved one that is in trouble can dial 988 to quickly get connected to help and life-saving help to support.
A key component of this new service is the availability of trained psychiatric mobile crisis response teams who can be connected to through the 988 line when necessary.
